Pain Medicine
Dr Sanders has extensive specialist experience as a consultant in pain medicine and the management of a wide range of painful conditions that can result from illness or personal injury.

Dr Sanders has expertise in using a variety of the latest treatment techniques, according to the needs of individual patients. Pain relief management can be achieved through injections such as nerve root or epidural, radiofrequency techniques, trigger points, and medications.

Patients are often referred by their GP, specialist or physiotherapist, but we are also happy to accept self-referrals. During the initial 30-45 minute consultation, Dr Sanders takes details of the relevant medical history, followed by an examination, all carried out in a caring environment. He may recommend additional investigations such as scans to help plan the treatment regime. Follow-up consultations then provide the opportunity to discuss the findings of the investigations or the patient’s response to treatment.

The fee for an initial consultation is £250, which is pre-payable before the appointment if you’re a self-paying patient. You can find more information about our work and fees on the Private Healthcare Information Network website www.phin.org.uk.
